IT Tools and Resources

At Aim Dedicated Logistics we strive to give you the latest technology that makes sense for your individual operation. Our in house programming staff has developed dispatching, billing, and freight bill auditing tools to help us give you the entire package.

LogistixPro ® is our custom developed dispatching system that has import capabilities to upload your orders directly into our system. It’s a system written by us to allow us 100% flexibility in meeting the needs of everyone from steel hauling to refrigerated food operations.

• The system then tracks the load, whether carrier or private fleet throughout the life of the load.
• It has the ability to choose the best carrier for a given load based on your parameters, cost, customer service, or any other metric of your choosing. This, like all of LogistixPro® is tailored to the way you do business.
• Automated faxing and emailing of available carrier freight
• Flexibility to integrate to your order entry system
• Integrates with Trucks® routing system for accounts who can use dynamic routing
• Uses PC*Miler ® to calculate all routes, route time, and distance

Freight Bill Auditing is a module of LogistixPro® that compares all carrier loads with their final invoice, automatically searches for errors or overcharges, and processes it to our Accounts Payable department for payment.

• Increases accuracy of the inbound carrier invoices
• Automatically updates fuel surcharges for comparison
• Flags any erroneous or excessive charges carriers may try to pass on to you
• Automatically emails problem invoices to the supervisor in charge of the account and any other interested parties
• Web interface for carriers to view the status of submitted invoices

GPS and Driver Communication is not only a large part of customer service but with homeland security issues it’s becoming more of a requirement. Aim is on the leading edge of this technology and has partnered with a Nextel® supplier to help launch a new wireless trailer to tractor communication solution. This will provide us with constant temperature tracking for our refrigerated trailers and also be able to monitor door openings. With GPS and the new wireless add on, the Nextel phone becomes a total, low entry cost, solution.
